Massive Solar Potential For Hervey Bay Schools

Last week, I gained information on the north facing roof space of Hervey Bay schools.

Interestingly, there is approximately 44,800 square metres of rooftops, potentially suitable for the installation of solar panels.  That’s massive.

The electricity generated,  could provide air-conditioning for hot classrooms.   Also, the electricity generated in the morning and late afternoon, would assist the peak demand energy needs for our community.  Makes sense to utilise this space.
