LNP delivers dedicated nurse for Hervey Bay Hospital
LNP Member for Hervey Bay Ted Sorensen has announced that the LNP will deliver better health services by securing a new community Parkinson’s nurse based at Hervey Bay Hospital.
“A Tim Nicholls-led LNP Government is fully committed to providing local residents with the best health care services,” Mr Sorensen said.
“An LNP Government will invest $300,000 for a dedicated Parkinson’s nurse to be based at Hervey Bay Hospital.
“The dedicated nurse will work with patients with acquired brain injuries such as strokes and brain haemorrhages.
“This is a major win for our community and will ensure all of our community, both young and old, now have access to the best health care.
LNP Shadow Health Minister John-Paul Langbroek said only the LNP’s Ted Sorensen would deliver world-class health care for Hervey Bay residents.
“A vote for anyone other than the LNP will see a return of a do-nothing Labor Government which has the wrong priorities,” Mr Langbroek said.
“Ted is an extremely hard-working MP and vocal champion for his community. This funding commitment forms part of our plan to Build a Better Queensland by Building a Better Hervey Bay.”
