Due to popular demand two more ‘Driving On’ seminars will be held (one in Maryborough and one in Hervey Bay) prior to Easter.

These ‘Driving On’ projects that will be hosted by Active Plus Lifestyle options and funded by the Department of Communities, Child Safety & Disability Services. An expert Driving Instructor( ex law enforcement ) will be presenting a two hour update with visuals on Queensland Road Safety and Road rules.

There have been over 1100 road rule changes since 1998 which impacts the safety of our over 50s tremendously. There is a need for accessible information and to share it with the Hervey Bay Community over 60’s. Fraser Coast TESS Hospitality students will be catering the event.

The Last Event attracted the attention of Channel 7 News and WIN News. This along with the participants created a huge demand locally for another Seminar.
