An act of unspeakable violence took from us a devoted mother and three beautiful children with their entire lives ahead of them.

We owe it to Hannah Clarke and her children.

We owe it to the countless other victims and survivors of domestic violence to do whatever it takes to make Queenslanders safer.

Today a future LNP government will take sensible and practical steps to help end the horror of domestic violence.

A future LNP Government will:
1️⃣ Introduce the toughest strangulation laws in the country
2️⃣ Immediately review the current criminal justice framework to implement new laws such as coercive control
3️⃣ Frontline police will be given tougher laws and new powers to issue domestic violence orders on the spot.
4️⃣ Commit $500,000 to roll-out personal safety devices to people at high-risk of suffering domestic violence
5️⃣ Provide grants of up to $2000 people can use to access emergency accommodation
6️⃣ Extra funding for frontline domestic violence organisations
